Before entering HR and payroll, Mirko served in the Italian Army, deployed across Kosovo, Lebanon and Afghanistan — an experience that shaped a career defined by resilience, precision, and the ability to lead across cultures under pressure.

He holds a Diploma in Accounting, a Law Degree, a Master's in Human Resource Management, studied ACCA in the UK, and holds the CIPP qualification — the UK's leading payroll professional certification. He built The Global Payroll Lumina from a conviction that grew over years of practice — that this profession carries more complexity, more responsibility, and more strategic value than any institution had ever properly defined.
